Daniel Ferstl: Ooh Eeh Ooh Ah Ah

On putting together this show:
I immensly love my cat, so for the last few months I was stuck with this idea of kinda
dedicating a show to him. The ?kinda? thing is still the issue.
Although I feel like there’s this distinct, deep emotional bond between us, this issue
of communication, a lack of real verbal communication, that is, beyond exchange of
needs like food, attention/affection and stuff – don’t get me wrong, we do chat a lot,
both of us emulating each others sounds, but as cool as this might be, there is this
gap…like when in Kiki’s Delivery service, Kiki grew older and Jiji wouldn’t talk to
her anymore.
Well to sum up things, I can only guess what he might find cool.
My usual routine after going out often includes a slice of pizza bought on the way
home, which I gnarl on while drifting into sleep while I watch TV. The cat always
tries to get a bite, so I can conclude that pizza is fine to him.
Once he saw a squirrel in my parents’ garden he found that interesting too.
The show is about all that I guess.
