Unterschiedliche Techniken selbst ausprobieren und Farbe, Form und Bewegung auf Papier bringen könnt ihr am Samstag und Sonntag am Kunstvermittlungsstand des ESSL MUSEUMS auf der VIENNAFAIR. (Standort direkt neben dem Stand H01 des Essl Museums).
Inspiration can be found in abundance at VIENNAFAIR – at the Essl Museum’s painting atelier your own creativity is called for! On Saturday and Sunday, you can experiment with dierent techniques and bring color, form, and movement to paper at the Essl Museum’s art education booth (located directly beside the Essl Museum booth H01).

Auf der Vienna Fair wird das bisher umfangreichste Standardwerk zum Wiener Aktionismus vorgestellt. Wiener Aktionismus. Kunst und Aufbruch im Wien der 1960er-Jahre wurde von Eva Badura-Triksa und Hubert Klocker für das Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien herausgegeben. Almuth Spiegler (Die Presse) wird im Gespräch mit den beiden HerausgeberInnen thematisieren, welche Auswirkungen die zeitliche Distanz auf die Auseinandersetzung mit der radikalsten Kunstbewegung Österreichs hat und welche Aufgaben und Herausforderungen sich dabei einer umfangreichen kunst- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Aufarbeitung stellen. www.mumok.at
The to-date most comprehensive book about Vienna Actionism will be presented at VIENNAFAIR. Vienna Actionism. Art and Upheaval in 1960s’ Vienna was published by Eva Badura-Triksa and Hubert Klocker on behalf of the Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien. In a discussion with the editors, Almuth Spiegler (Die Presse) will examine the eects of temporal distance on the understanding of the most radical art movement in Austria and the tasks and challenges involved in such an extensive working-through from the perspectives of art and cultural studies. www.mumok.at
