soft, softer, softspot
a lecture by
james taylor-foster
Making exhibitions has never been easier – nor harder. Curatorial acts have never felt more abundant – and more fragile. In this informal lecture, writer and curator james taylor-foster traces the outline of a curatorial practice that, like the cultures of which it is a part, is in a state of flux. Dwelling on ideas co-develped with ĒTER and present in their exhibition Nail Salon, the lecture investigates softness as a strategy for instituting new ways of bending, breaking and building cultural experiences.
