*** Probing the depths inside the piano // Eli Wallace [Concert]
Wallace’s music emerged through deliberate exploration of various piano preparations, which became the foundation and catalyst for its unique sounds and creative development. The music draws the listener in, immersing them not only in the auditory experience but also in the physical sensations experienced by the performer. The resulting composition serves as a deeply personal declaration of Wallace’s profound connection to the piano, representing his passion and lifelong dedication to the instrument.
Eli Wallace is a pianist, improviser and composer based in Brooklyn New York.

*** Hiding the obscure object of desire, a pleasure // Elisabeth Bakambamba Tambwe [Performance]

What a Bordel this project is ! The staging stands out for its fusion of different performance spaces where different disciplines interact with each other. Art does its strip-tease. Everything intermingles, everything seems to interpenetrate. Body at work, body for sale…
The performer is both an art object and a place, crossed by desire and object of multiple transactions.
